» Retail Operational Manager «

The qualified candidate will be In charge of Managing key operational activities that effecting profitability provides management with strategic analysis monitor and control operations on Human Resources, Customer Services and Facilities Management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
›› Increase revenue and control expenses
• Achieve sales goals by actively managing Management and serving as primary resource for all operations issues.
• Execute all Corporate marketing strategies and key business initiatives through consultation with Managements.
• Work with Director of Merchandising to ensure that retail centers are operational at all locations.
• Consult daily with Management to review action plans for achieving departmental goals and review relevant operational issues.
• Assist Management in forecasting and implementing creative strategies for achieving departmental goals.
• Work with Finance to review any outstanding issues related to Purchase, Operational Cost and Etc.
• Weekly meeting with All Store Managers to communicate corporate strategies action, marketing plan, facilities upgrade and operational activities expenses.
• Assist Human Resources and Finance in managing payroll and operating expenses.
• Work with Finance , GMs and Human Resources to establish appropriate staffing levels and payroll budgets.
›› Continuing Education and Staff Development
• Conduct regularly scheduled on-site meetings.
• Review consolidated monthly summaries from General Managers and use as tool to improve monthly performance.
• Work with Human Resources to recruit, hire, train and develop staff as needed.
• Work with Management to identify continuing education and development needs.
• Conduct annual performance review for all Store.
›› Continuing Education and Staff Development
• Review payroll expense and operations expense on monthly basis and ensure that expense ratios meet expectations.
• Ensure that budget variances are addressed on a monthly basis.
• Assist Store Manager in implementing revised operational plans to address expense overruns and revenue shortfalls on a monthly basis to ensure the annual margins are met.
• Ensure that Retail are appropriately staffed and participate in the interview process if needed.
• Sign-off on all management level payroll status change forms.
• Work with Store Manager to establish and maintain vendor relationships.
• Conduct Annual Quality Control Audit at all locations.
• Complete monthly business summary and submit to Director every month.
›› Customer Service
• Respond to direct customer feedback within 24 hours and assist Store Manager in resolving customer service issues as needed.
• Solicit feedback from staff and customer on a regular basis.
• Work with Management and Human resources to create, communicate and implement best practices for Retail Operation.
• Be creative in addressing and resolving customer service issues.
• Be accessible and available to staff at all times.
›› Facilities
• Approve ordering of new and replacement Retail Facilities as necessary and within budgetary guidelines.
• Maintain an emergency vendor contact list for each Retail.
• Assist Store Manager in developing and implementing housekeeping and maintenance checklist to be performed on a daily basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated record of success in operations management and sales/customer service management with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity. Strong customer service, problem solving, written and verbal communication, organization, follows through and leadership skills are required. The applicant should have a general knowledge of the Fashion industry, with retail /hotel or hospitality management experience preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in developing and managing operational budgets, thorough understanding of Profit & Loss statements and experience managing multiple locations is required. Bachelors Degree and/or relevant professional experience required. |
